When my friend told me there was a meat processing factory nearby I decided to apply because I already had experience. I applied to be a factory operative but quickly became a training support and now I am a ‘buddy’ to help new starters settle in which I love doing and it makes me really happy. The most interesting thing about my job is meeting new people and that I learn something new from them, as well as me helping them to learn. I enjoy working for Forza and feel supported here. There are so many helpful people. The company also provides me with helpful training courses to improve my skills and knowledge so now I feel very confident doing my work.

In the past I have been a bar manager for 21 years and I owned a fish and chip shop and restaurant. I applied to Forza just to see what it would be like and I’m still here! The best thing about working at Forza is the variety of the work and of the people here. The culture is good and I come to work because I enjoy it, not because of the benefits. I feel like if I needed any support, all I would have to do is ask.

My past jobs include coal mining face worker for 10 years, lab technician for 12 years at a Midlands iron foundry and food manufacturing for Hazelwood foods for five years. I have been at Forza Foods for 10 years now and find this job very satisfying, I honestly love it. Every day has different tasks and targets and I get great satisfaction from reaching these targets and being thanked for doing so by management on a regular basis. I first found out about Forza at a Job Centre and was interviewed the next day. I started the following week and was trained on numerous jobs. I've learnt quite a lot in my 10 years with the company and have been given a fair few opportunities to progress further, including standing in for line management. The culture is excellent, we work together with people from around the world but everyone gets along.

I decided to apply for a job at Forza because of the flexibility offered in terms of working days. I received a phone call a short time after I submitted my application. The process was efficient and I was offered a job immediately. I enjoy my day-to-day responsibilities and I learn new things and develop new skills every day. I am given a high level of responsibilities (which enables me to step out of my comfort zone and challenge myself). I am trusted to do my work and the most rewarding thing about my job is that we are delivering high quality products to Asda and I play part in this. Forza is a great place to work. We are all well supported to do our best and achieve the best possible outcomes for our client and ensure that our products are delivered to them on time.

I have been working for Kober for over a year now and I have found it to be a very supporting and encouraging environment. I started working in the factory on production line and enjoyed my job, then I saw a notice for a stand-in HR coordinator and applied because I am doing an online administration course and thought I would be a good opportunity to get some experience. They hired me for a new position, stand-in recruitment coordinator.

When I first joined Kober I worked as a slicer in the high care department. Kober gave me the opportunity to progress and supported me in getting a FLT qualification. I am now in a role that I really enjoy in dispatch. I have and will continue to recommend Kober as a good employer, they have always supported me in and out of work with any issues that I may have.

I came to work at Kober with an agency and after 4 months they gave me a permanent contract. I worked as a packer in high care after that I was trained to be a line leader. I was then moved into boxing and I am very happy in this role because I am always busy and there is always thing to do. I have found Kober to be helpful if I need time off. They are supportive and a big bonus for me is that I live very close to work.

I was originally hired by an agency to work security at Forza and they decided to take me on full time and moved me to Kober this worked out well for me because it is closer to where I live. I am the first person people meet when they come on site and one of my duties it to make sure everyone is and feels safe. One of the things I enjoy about working at Kober is that they are very compassionate and understanding.

When I first started work here I was a label coordinator with an agency, Kober then gave me a permeant contract. I have always wanted to work with people and Kober have given me the opportunity and support to progress and grow within the company. I am now HR Advisor and find every day a new challenge be it working with new people or learning from my fellow colleagues.
